Pregnancy Exercise classes are located at INSPIRE Pilates for Women, 12/55 Old Princes Hwy, Beaconsfield.
INSPIRE Pregnancy Exercise classes are designed specifically for women during pregnancy. The classes consists of a combination of Pilates-informed-exercises, strength and flexibility exercises, and low-impact cardio, designed to strengthen and tone your muscles, with particular focus on the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles. There is a maximum of 8 women in each class.
As all INSPIRE Pregnancy Exercise classes are run by experienced physiotherapists, and exercises can be modified to suit your level of fitness and specific needs. INSPIRE Pregnancy Exercise classes run on a weekly basis except for public holidays and over the Christmas/New Year’s break.
Please note that all women must attend an assessment prior to commencing an INSPIRE Pregnancy Exercise class. This enables our experienced physiotherapists to identify issues which may require any modification required during class to ensure your safety and enjoyment.
Most Private Health Insurers will cover INSPIRE Pregnancy Reformer Classes under Physiotherapy Extras. Please contact your Health Fund to check if you are able to claim a rebate (595- Pregnancy Group Exercise).
