Please note that all women must attend an assessment and follow-up appointment prior to commencing Clinical Pilates.  Every participant is carefully assessment and a personalised program is designed to meet your needs and goals.  Clinical Pilates programs run in 8 week blocks.

PILATES REFORMER CLASSES

INSPIRE Pilates Reformer classes utilise the remarkable design of the pilates reformer machines to strengthen, shape and tone your body from the inside out. There is a maximum of 8 women in each class, allowing our experienced physiotherapists to ensure your safety and comfort, and to optimise your results in a group setting.


Reformer Classes (Level 1, Level 2 & Level 3)

Our Pilates reformer classes are designed with toning and fitness in mind, and are suitable for women of all ages and abilities who do not require an individualised program.   Please note that reformer classes are not suitable for women who have acute injury or chronic conditions that need to be managed with clinical supervision. For women with acute or chronic issues, our Clinical Pilates classes offer individualised programs to suit specific clinical needs.

Our Pilates reformer classes are suitable for everyone and cater for varying fitness levels with Level 1, 2 & 3 classes available.  We also offer a Strong Bones & Balanceclass for women with bone health or balance concerns.

Level 1 classes are suitable for women new to pilates or for those who have not exercised for some time. The workout is based on a reformer bed with focus on learning techniques to isolate and activate specific muscle groups correctly.

Level 2 classes are a full-body workout aimed to improve coordination, balance, strength and flexibility. Participants must have completed a minimum of two beginner classes (or at discretion of physiotherapist). A moderate level of fitness is required.

Level 3 classes provide a fast paced full-body workout involving complex repertoire and sequencing. These classes are suitable for the advanced participant who has a thorough understanding of pilates principles and techniques.


Strong Bones & Balance Reformer

These classes are for women who have issues with poor bone health (osteopenia or osteoporosis) and/or balance concerns.  There is a strong emphasis on exercises to improve balance, promote better bone density and overall strength.    



All women must attend an assessment prior to commencing any classes.  This enables our experienced Physiotherapists to identify issues and your level of experience to determine which class is most suitable for you.

Classes are located at INSPIRE Pilates for Women, 12/55 Old Princes Hwy, Beaconsfield.

INSPIRE Pregnancy Reformer classes are designed specifically for women during pregnancy.  The first half of the class focuses on low-impact cardio/fitness using fit balls, and the second half of the class utilises reformer machines for the pilates component to strengthen and tone your muscles, with particular focus on the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles. 


There is a maximum of 8 women in each class.  
As all INSPIRE Pregnancy Reformer classes are run by experienced physiotherapists, exercises can be modified to suit your level of fitness and specific needs. INSPIRE Pregnancy Exercise classes run on a weekly basis except for public holidays and over the Christmas/New Year’s break.

Please note that all women must attend an assessment prior to commencing an INSPIRE Pregnancy Reformer class. This enables our experienced physiotherapists to identify issues which may require any modification required during class to ensure your safety and enjoyment.

Most Private Health Insurers will cover INSPIRE Pregnancy Reformer Classes under Physiotherapy Extras.  Please contact your Health Fund to check if you are able to claim a rebate (595-Pregnancy reformer).

INSPIRE Mums & Bubs Reformer classes provide a welcoming and friendly environment where you can exercise with your baby and regain your pre-baby body.  Enjoy a our Mums & Bubs Reformer classes to strengthen, shape and tone your body from the inside out and regain your pre-baby body.


  • Regain pelvic floor muscle strength and bladder control
  • Strengthen and flatten your abdominal muscles
  • Tone your body
  • Raise your energy levels
  • Provide a base to safely move to higher intensity exercise without injury
  • Prevent low mood and postnatal depression

INSPIRE Mums & Bubs Reformer classes are designed specifically for women after birth to regain their pre-pregnancy body with a strong emphasis on pelvic floor and abdominal exercises, as well as generalised toning.

There is a maximum of 8 women in each class.  All women must have an assessment prior to commencing classes.

Classes can be commenced anytime from six weeks after birth until your baby is mobile.
