Director - Physiotherapist

Anna is the Director and Founder of INSPIRE Physiotherapy for Women.  Anna has over 15 years experience, and during this time, has completed Postgraduate Certificates in ‘Exercise for Women’ and ‘Continence and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation’ at the University of Melbourne.  In addition to providing treatment for general musculoskeletal problems, Anna has extensive expertise in the treatment of women during the pregnancy/postnatal period (particularly back, pelvic, coccyx, hip and groin pain), movement retraining using Pilates exercises, and continence & pelvic floor rehabilitation.  Anna is currently on maternity leave until May 2019.

Olivia completed her Physiotherapy degree in South Africa before moving to  Australia in 2002, and like Anna, has over 15 years of physiotherapy experience.  Olivia has a passion for Clinical Pilates, general musculo-skeletal problems, pregnancy/postnatal related issues (neck, back, pelvic, coccyx, hip and groin pain), and continence & pelvic floor rehabilitation. Her background of dance growing up gives her a wonderful insight into dance-related injuries and the rehabilitation of these to achieve optimal recovery and technique.

Liz completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2007 and since this time, has developed expertise in the treatment of sports injuries, general musculoskeletal problems, pregnancy/postnatal related pain, continence & pelvic floor problems and osteoporosis and arthritis.  Liz has also recently completed  the Postgraduate Certificate in  ‘Continence and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation’ at the University of Melbourne.  She also has a particular passion helping women with lymphoedema & persistent swelling.

Anke completed her Physiotherapy Degree in Germany before moving to Australia a few years ago and starting a family.  She is a mother to two busy boys, so she understands the difficulties with co-ordinating motherhood and looking after yourself.  Anke loves taking the Reformer Exercise and Pregnancy Exercise classes, as well as helping women to return to their optimal function using a holistic approach.  Anke is currently on maternity leave and is looking to return to INSPIRE in the second half of 2019.

Rachel studied a bachelor of Health Sciences with a Masters of Physiotherapy at La Trobe University. Her well developed, and up to date knowledge of physiotherapy practices, proves her to be the ideal therapist for muscular, pre/post natal issues, sporting injuries and 1:1 pilates sessions. Rachel has also completed courses in yoga and pilates, and will be taking Clinical Rehab program sessions and Reformer Exercise classes through out the week. Rachel is also a member of the APA.
