Good muscle tone is the essence of a life free from pain.

INSPIRE Clinical Pilates and Reformer Pilates classes strengthen and tone the body, retraining the deep 'inner' stabilising muscles, to achieve pain relief and good posture.

At INSPIRE Physiotherapy for Women, all Pilates sessions are conducted by our clinically trained female physiotherapists, so our classes are different from what you’ll find elsewhere.  Our physiotherapists use their extensive knowledge to tailor exercises to your level and specific needs.  All Pilates sessions are claimable for a partial rebate under ‘Physio Extras’ private health insurance.

Physiotherapists are trained health professionals. At INSPIRE Physiotherapy for Women, all pilates sessions are conducted by experienced physiotherapists, so our classes are different from what you'll find elsewhere.

INSPIRE Physiotherapy for Women's Reformer Pilates and Clinical Pilates focus on your inner body strength. We know that pelvic floor tone is important to intimacy and continence. We understand how regular exercise and Pilates can ease neck pain, back pain, joint and muscle pain, energy drain and other discomfort.

All pilates sessions are claimable for partial rebate under 'extras' private health insurance.

Clinical Pilates has been developed by physiotherapists to assist in the treatment of pain and injury and poor posture, or for those wanting a personalised program for optimal strength and toning.

INSPIRE Clinical Pilates retrains your inner ‘core’ muscles to achieve optimal body function, and is ideal for:

  • headaches, neck and shoulder tension
  • back, pelvic, sciatic, hip and groin pain
  • joint and muscle pain
  • poor posture and Scoliosis
  • pregnancy and postnatal discomfort
  • pelvic floor and bladder concerns
  • sporting and dance injuries
  • arthritis

Every woman is assessed individually, and a personal pilates program is designed depending on your needs. Groups are kept to a maximum of three so that you receive the care and attention you deserve. Click here to view timetable.

INSPIRE Pilates Reformer classes utilise the remarkable design of the pilates reformer machines to strengthen, shape and tone your body from the inside out. There is a maximum of 8 women in each class, allowing our experienced physiotherapists to ensure your safety and comfort, and to optimise your results in a group setting.

Reformer Classes (Foundation, Level 1 & Level 2)

Our Pilates reformer classes are designed with toning and fitness in mind, and are suitable for women of all ages and abilities who do not require an individualised program.   Please note that reformer classes are not suitable for women who have acute injury or chronic conditions that need to be managed with clinical supervision. For women with acute or chronic issues, our Clinical Pilates classes offer individualised programs to suit specific clinical needs.

Our Pilates reformer classes are suitable for everyone and cater for varying fitness levels with Level 1, 2 & 3 classes available.  We also offer a Strong Bones & Balance class for women with bone health or balance concerns.

Foundation classes are suitable for women new to pilates or for those who have not exercised for some time. The workout is based on a reformer bed with focus on learning techniques to isolate and activate specific muscle groups correctly.

Level 1 classes are a full-body workout aimed to improve coordination, balance, strength and flexibility. Participants must have completed a minimum of two beginner classes (or at discretion of physiotherapist). A moderate level of fitness is required.

Level 2 classes provide a fast paced full-body workout involving complex repertoire and sequencing. These classes are suitable for the advanced participant who has a thorough understanding of pilates principles and techniques.

Contact us today to book your assessment.

Our new Stretch Pilates class aims to improve mobility and flexibility in the body in order to enhance overall function. Using the reformer machines and other small equipment the class will incorporate components of myofascial release, stretching, breath awareness and mindfulness. Everyone will be able to experience the benefits of this class as it is suitable for all ages and abilities.
