INSPIRE Pilates Reformer classes utilise
the remarkable design of the pilates reformer machines to strengthen, shape and
tone your body from the inside out. There is a maximum of 8 women in each
class, allowing our experienced physiotherapists to ensure your safety and
comfort, and to optimise your results in a group setting.
Reformer Classes (Foundation, Level 1 & Level 2)
Our Pilates reformer classes are designed with toning and fitness in mind, and are suitable for women of all ages and abilities who do not require an
individualised program. Please note that reformer classes are not suitable for women who have acute injury or chronic conditions that need to be managed with clinical supervision. For women with acute or chronic issues, our Clinical Pilates classes offer individualised programs to suit specific clinical needs.Our Pilates reformer classes are suitable for everyone and cater for varying fitness levels with Level 1, 2 & 3 classes available. We also offer a Strong Bones & Balance class for women with bone health or balance concerns.
Foundation classes are suitable for women
new to pilates or for those who have not exercised for some time. The workout
is based on a reformer bed with focus on learning techniques to isolate and
activate specific muscle groups correctly.
Level 1 classes are a full-body workout
aimed to improve coordination, balance, strength and flexibility. Participants
must have completed a minimum of two beginner classes (or at discretion of
physiotherapist). A moderate level of fitness is required.
Level 2 classes provide a fast paced
full-body workout involving complex repertoire and sequencing. These classes
are suitable for the advanced participant who has a thorough understanding of
pilates principles and techniques.
